Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just starting your journey, are you ready to challenge and inspire yourself in this serene Tuscan setting?

Each yoga practice, led by either Melody Butler or Darcy Henry, will be 75 minutes long and appropriate to all skill levels. Our twice daily practices will include various styles such as power, hatha, vinyasa, slow flow, and restorative so that each day will be a little different to adapt to your needs throughout the week.  The on-site studio comes equipped with yoga mats, blocks, straps and blankets, meditation cushions (zafu and zabutan), and comfortable chairs, so no need to pay for that extra bag or lug your mat and props with you through security.

All scheduled practices and excursions are optional.

The Farm

At day’s end, unwind in the luxurious accommodations that seamlessly blend traditional elegance with modern comforts. Each room is thoughtfully designed to provide a haven of relaxation, allowing you to rest and rejuvenate after a fulfilling day.

Ebbio is a restored 13th century farm beautifully transformed in a tranquil spot for retreats and holidays. Nestled inside an evergreen forest, it sits on an extinct volcano that was sacred to the Etruscans, and overlooks the medieval walled town of Monteriggioni.

Ebbio’s family includes Sibilla, Francesca, Nyshi, Bardhyl, Jane, Elkabira, the beloved Wwoofers, as well as geese, chickens, horses, donkeys, dogs, cats and plenty of butterflies. The country ways of old Italy are preserved here, where they dedicate themselves to the organic cultivation of olive trees, vineyards, fruit, vegetables and herbs, which are then used in preparing home-made vegetarian meals. The unique décor of each of the nine bedrooms builds on this traditional heritage, with earthly colours and windows onto the rolling Tuscan hills.

Within easy reach of nearby cities, including Siena (10km) and Florence (45km), and a short walk from Monteriggioni, Ebbio is seated in the heart of the region of Tuscany, renowned for its fertile landscapes and artistic heritage. Flavours, smells, sounds and sights combine with history to create a holiday experience that is like stepping into another world.

The Accomidations

Ebbio Organic Farm invites you to come on in and feel at home!

Rest and rejuvenate in the charming accommodations of Ebbio Organic Farm. Experience the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts, allowing you to unwind and find solace after a day of enriching experiences. Can you envision yourself strolling through the farm’s grounds or enjoying breathtaking sunsets from your private retreat?

The thick walls and terracotta tiles of the house keep our guests cool in the summer and cozy in the winter, and the many windows let the lavender-scented breeze come through. Our ten uniquely-furnished rooms cluster around a spacious communal area containing a traditional fireplace. On the ground floor, we have a multi-purpose wooden floor activity room, which has an adjoining bathroom. There is also a massage room, as well as a wood-burning pizza oven.

Much of Ebbio life is spent outdoors, often at the large communal tables under the shade of the pergolas, where we eat the meals prepared in our professional kitchen using our own produce. For a moment to oneself, there are plenty of chairs in the sun and hammocks in the shade, ideal for sunbathing, reading or star-gazing.

The Farm house boasts 9 rooms that can be either double or triple occupancy and 5 bathrooms for a truly communal and connected experience, allowing you to rest and relax alongside your fellow yogis.

With limited availability for booking, you can expect a retreat that feels intimate and exclusive

Meet DH

DARCY HENRY

“Hi! I’m Darcy. I truly love life and yoga. It has been my desire, since I started practicing in 2010, to share this tradition with anyone and everyone. At first, yoga was a supplemental practice to running and cycling, but after a half marathon and a few MS150’s, yoga became my main focus. So, I became a teacher in 2016.
🧘‍♀️ I believe in yoga for wellness. I believe yoga is for every body. The beautiful and unique thing about asana is that it touches every part of the human anatomy. As Bryan Kest says “…yoga takes care of you”. Looking good is different than FEELING good. There is no proof that pretty people feel better than anyone else. Don’t we all just want to feel good? In my classes we challenge ourselves, we push our boundaries and connect our practice on the mat to our lives that leave the yoga studio.
❤️ I was born in Southern California. I love the sun and the ocean and the moon. I’ve lived in texas since I was 21 years old and now consider myself a Cali-Texan. My students are my greatest teachers and I will never stop learning. Houston has SO many inspiring yogis! It’s an honor to be a part of the Houston Yoga Community. Being united makes us strong and connected. Together we can do so much!”

I’ve created and produced 2 Deepen The Heart Texas Based Women’s Wellness Retreats in 2018 &  2019 and lead my first international retreat, Beachside Bliss in Chacala Mexico in 2021. Then spent 2023 guiding retreats in Costa Rica and again in Mexico with the MidSummer Magic yogis!

On top of all that, I am the founder and guide for the A Well Read Yogi Virtual Book Club.
This Book Club brings our practice from the mat to the page and back again where we create connection and community through the lens of self study. And where we transcend time and space using ancient techniques (like mediation) and modern technology (like zoom).

In my classes, I offer a mindful Vinyasa and Hatha practices that focus on meditation and movement. I love being able to use yoga to create community and connection wherever I am.

I honestly love everything about my work and hope I get to see you in one or (or all) of my classes soon!
